Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FuturLab processes information when a creator uses its authorized short-form content preparation, publishing, status and analytics workflows. FuturLab processes only the information needed to provide the functions selected by the user.
1. Information we process
Connected-account information
When a user connects a supported platform, FuturLab may receive the platform account identifier, display name, username, avatar, granted permissions and other basic account information made available by the authorized API.
Authorization information
FuturLab may securely store OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens when provided, token expiration information, scopes and connection status. FuturLab never asks for or stores a user's TikTok, Google, YouTube, Instagram or Facebook password.
Content and publishing information
FuturLab processes videos, captions, titles, privacy selections, interaction settings, commercial-content disclosures, AI-generated-content disclosures, schedule information, platform publication identifiers and processing results that the user submits or approves.
Operational information
FuturLab may record technical logs, request timestamps, delivery status, error information and limited permitted performance statistics so it can operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the authorized workflow.
Cookies and session information
FuturLab uses limited cookies or similar session technologies that are necessary to maintain the security and continuity of an OAuth connection, prevent request forgery, remember temporary workflow state and keep the service functioning. FuturLab does not use these essential session technologies to sell personal information or build advertising profiles.
2. How we use information
- To connect and maintain the social accounts explicitly authorized by the user.
- To prepare, upload or publish content and drafts requested or approved by the user.
- To retrieve creator posting options and permitted processing status.
- To display permitted publication records and performance information.
- To prevent duplicate posts, detect failures, protect the service and comply with platform rules.
- To respond to support, access, revocation and deletion requests.
3. TikTok data and Content Posting API
When a user connects TikTok, FuturLab uses TikTok's official OAuth and APIs. Depending on the scopes authorized, FuturLab may receive basic TikTok profile information, including an account identifier, display name, username and avatar; authorization tokens and scopes; creator posting settings; and status information for a post or draft submitted through FuturLab.
FuturLab uses the video.publish scope only to submit a Direct Post after the creator reviews the video, caption, privacy, interaction, commercial-content and other required settings and confirms the post. FuturLab uses the video.upload scope only to send an authorized video as a TikTok draft for the creator to complete in TikTok. TikTok data is not used for unrelated advertising or sold to data brokers.
Users can disconnect TikTok from FuturLab and can also revoke FuturLab from their TikTok account settings. A user may request deletion of stored TikTok authorization and operational data by contacting FuturLab.
4. YouTube API Services
FuturLab uses YouTube API Services when a user connects a YouTube account. Depending on the authorized features, FuturLab may use the YouTube Data API to upload videos to the user's channel and retrieve limited information such as a YouTube video identifier, visibility or processing status and basic performance statistics.
YouTube API Data is used only for the user-requested publishing, status and analytics functions and is not sold to advertisers. Use of YouTube API Services is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
A user can revoke FuturLab's Google or YouTube access from Google Security permissions.
5. Instagram and Facebook data
When a user authorizes a Meta account, FuturLab may process the connected Facebook Page or Instagram professional-account identifiers, authorization tokens, selected videos and captions, publication identifiers, processing status and permitted insights. This information is used only for the connected publishing and analytics workflow selected by the account owner.
6. Sharing and service providers
FuturLab sends information to TikTok, Google or YouTube, Meta or another connected platform only when needed to perform an action authorized by the user. FuturLab may also use infrastructure providers for hosting, temporary media delivery, security and operational logging. These providers process information only to provide their services to FuturLab.
FuturLab does not sell personal information, platform authorization data or uploaded content. FuturLab does not provide personal information to third parties for their independent targeted advertising.
7. Storage and retention
OAuth tokens are retained until the connection is revoked, disconnected, expired or deleted. Publication records and technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, prevent duplicate actions, resolve failures, secure the workflow and meet applicable legal obligations.
Uploaded media may be processed or stored temporarily for authorized delivery and retry handling. Temporary media is removed when it is no longer needed through configured lifecycle controls, unless longer retention is required by law or necessary to address misuse or a security incident.
8. Security
FuturLab uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect authorization data and content, including secure transport, restricted access, secret storage and limited public exposure. No system is completely secure, and users should promptly revoke a connection and contact FuturLab if they suspect unauthorized access.
9. User choices and rights
Users may disconnect a platform, revoke authorization through the platform, or ask FuturLab to provide information about or delete applicable stored data. Depending on local law, users may also have rights to access, correct, restrict or object to processing and to receive a portable copy of certain information.
To make a request, email clipsfabricc@gmail.com. FuturLab may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request. Applicable data will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible unless retention is legally required.
10. Children
FuturLab is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required to use the connected platforms or consent to the relevant data processing.
11. International processing
Connected platforms and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Where required, FuturLab relies on applicable contractual or legal safeguards for such processing.
12. Changes and contact
FuturLab may update this policy when its service, integrations or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
